Meet David

David is a certified Business Coach with ActionCOACH, the world’s #1 business coaching firm; with over 1000 offices in 70+ countries. After nearly 30 successful years in sales management of small and mid-sized companies, David is now enjoying working with business owners to achieve their goals and dreams through the “Profession of Business Ownership.”

David’s mission is to have business owners develop personally and, in turn, grow their business to reap the rewards of the risk, time, and hard work they’ve invested. They capture profits that often seem so elusive, and free up time in their hectic schedules so they can enjoy family, personal interests, and additional business ventures.

David is a graduate of North Carolina State University and subsequently earned his MBA. He has worked for multiple privately owned and rapidly growing enterprises, as well as starting and purchasing six businesses himself including construction, plumbing, boat parts manufacturer, and an event venue. He is fully engaged and understanding of the challenges owners experience through the life of their companies. Further, David is equipped with hundreds of proven strategies and the skill set to work alongside owners to get amazing results.
Those results speak for themselves, as David has climbed into the top 5% of ActionCOACH leaders world-wide.

Raised in North Carolina, David, his wife and 3 sons have called Mooresville home for over 20 years. He remains very active in his church and surrounding community.

Meet Brent

Brent Thompson loves working with local businesses to help them grow and succeed. His true passion lies in working 1:1 with business owners to see where they can grow their income and take back some of their free time as well. 

In addition to coaching ambitious and committed business owners, Brent is a valuable part of the ActionCOACH Lake Norman team participating in business development through local marketing, building community relationships, leading various ActionCOACH seminars, and conducting sales and leadership trainings.

Brent is passionate about serving and investing in others and believes that continual learning, focused training, and openness to education are critical components to anyone’s overall health and success. He brings 28 years of business experience, from entry-level to the upper echelons of management. Brent’s diverse experience includes serving in nonprofit organizations and for-profit businesses of various sizes. Profit is not everything, but he admits, it certainly doesn’t hurt! In addition, he holds Series 7 and Series 63 securities industry licenses. Brent earned a BS in Business Administration from Appalachian State University with focuses in Marketing and International Business.

In his free time, Brent enjoys hanging out and playing with his two kids, Macaela and Landon, reading, landscaping, boating, traveling, watching movies and TV shows, and walking his dog, Toby. He has made several trips to Nakuru, Kenya to serve dozens of families that have found themselves living in and surviving on the local landfill. He has served in an organization that sponsors and provides children an opportunity to escape that landfill environment by attending a faith-based boarding school in a neighboring town. Brent hopes to continue this mission work in the future.
